Color Piano® operates primarily as a client-side application. We minimize data collection and do not require account creation to use our core features.

Local Storage

By default, all your preferences and settings in Color Piano are stored locally on your device using browser local storage. This includes:

• Theme preferences (light/dark mode)

• Instrument configurations
• Audio settings

This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly choose to use features that require server communication.

3. Color Piano and the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)

Miko Meow LLC is committed to compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA"), a federal law designed to protect children online. We take children's privacy seriously and encourage parents to take an active role in protecting their children's privacy and online experience at all times.

Note to Parents

Miko Meow LLC has developed Color Piano to be an enjoyable music learning experience for users of all ages, including those under 13. Color Piano does not require account creation and stores user preferences locally on the device. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

4. Using Color Piano in Schools and for Education

Color Piano is designed for music education and is used by students and teachers for learning piano, guitar, and music theory. Since Color Piano operates primarily client-side and does not require accounts, it can be used in educational settings without collecting student data.
